Tuesday loves.

Hi folks. Sorry for the delayed post. My site kept logging me out when I went to hit "publish." Minor irritation but we're back! How is everyone? I'm sharing my Tuesday Loves this morning and one might conclude that I am currently craving cozy knits and...well...tops of any sort. At least once a year I find my closet in a deficit for great tops. Seems like we are onto a pattern here, dear January. Anyhoo, some great AFFORDABLE options and one bad ass pair of jeans.

Superhero status.

Capes definitely give you superhero status. I should know, this T&J Designs version gives me wings! It's also a sure fire way to dress up even the most basic of basics because let's face it...winter weather and a lack of fashion inspiration have officially arrived in Chicago. <cue the eye roll>

A Shopper's Uniform.

All right. Black Friday is around the corner. It's time to get serious. We all know the struggle. It's hot in the stores, cold outside and you're gonna get pushed around like a fat kid in a donut shop. What do you wear? I'll tell you...this outfit. It's ventilated and the jacket is not required.

PS / you need stretchy denim post turkey time. Let's be honest.

Tuesday loves + go vote!

Today is going to be an interesting day isn't it? November has been a monumental month. First the Cubbies and now the potential of a woman leading our nation. Not sure what's next but I'm exhausted. How about you? Okay, that's an exaggeration. I'm just really exhausted from reading everyone's opinions on politics. All right already!

Let's talk about shopping instead. That's a neutral enough subject. How amazing is that blush coat? That's going on the Santa list for sure! The rest of my choices I observed whilst in NYC because you know you can always count on that city for fashion. And it was indeed juicy. Take a gander...

Everyday denim.

When I think of easy, everyday uniforms...I think of denim and a fitted blazer. Two classics that no woman should be without. On the days I am running like a mad woman, (cough, cough - everyday) I opt for a heel that can take me from day to night. Or, in my case, carpool lines to photo shoots to meetings to happy hour. Might I add that these scalloped beauties definitely fit the bill?

Chasing light.

Chicago is experiencing a Fall unlike any other. Perfectly brisk mornings and cool nights. I even heard that we might have some frost in the evening. This is the quintessential Chicago that I know and love. Bring on the leaves!

Tuesday loves...a little delayed!

Speaking of fashion, I just wrapped an editorial shoot for a client. I just love editorial photography. I get such a buzz off it. Something about all those accessories, clothing racks and shoes that makes me excited to create and snap behind the scenes as only a social media person will do!

On the fray.

Sweater weather is finally here! I might regret saying this but I am very excited about brisk mornings and cooler temps. My friend and fellow Oak St. Social photographer was cursing me for saying this last week but there it is...I said it.

Starry night.

First off, thank you for all the kind comments and encouraging words in yesterday's post. You really made my day during a rough patch. It was also a reminder of why I keep doing it and that I obviously arrived at this point in my career for a reason. Easy to lose sight of the big picture sometimes.
