Chasing light.
Chicago is experiencing a Fall unlike any other. Perfectly brisk mornings and cool nights. I even heard that we might have some frost in the evening. This is the quintessential Chicago that I know and love. Bring on the leaves!
Speaking of leaves, I listed a whole bunch of new items in my Poshmark closet. Have a gander!
I'm really into texture and the 60's these days as suggested by this super fun top. It's all things girly and would look adorable tucked into a pencil skirt, too. I mean those sleeves...even my girls commented on them. Kids are funny!
Also on repeat, this ring! From Bauble Bar, I've been rocking rose gold like no other which means I've been reaching for this ring on a daily basis. I get SO many compliments on it, too. Samesies with my orange/red earrings. Aren't they fun? Also from Bauble Bar!
All of these finds are under $50 including my jeans and I've linked them below including some more fun, fringe-y finds. Enjoy!

I punctuate every outfit I put together with shoes. It’s always the frosting on the proverbial fashion cake. I’m just a shoe girl and it’s always been that way.
It’s also true that I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect red boot for what seems like my entire life. An exaggeration, I assure you but it feels that way. It’s always when you’re not looking that you find exactly what you need. Match that with a budget freeze you have yourself the perfect problem. Until now…
Solopreneur. Mompreneur. Entrepreneur. They all point to the same title but what does it mean for you as you contemplate this roller coaster of a journey? I can sum it up in two words: wildly exhausting. Wild and exhausting don’t always have to have a negative connotation. I was a wild 20-something which = I had a heck of a lot of fun! Traveling Europe was exhausting which = fulfilling, enriching, my brain exploded with an appreciation for a different culture.
In case you don’t live in the Midwest, it is f-f-f-f-freezing here. Dressing cute is still a priority but warmth is everything and while I never thought I would be a pullover girl, I can tell you I have officially converted this week! And the best news of all is that the one I am wearing is a mere $20! You cannot beat that!
It seems I’ve been hanging onto some content and it’s time to share. With the craze of the holidays matched with the craze of this week, I’m ready to get back into the creative groove!
It recently dawned on me that it’s been ages since I last did an outfit post. I guess life has been busy! Trust me, I’ve been wearing clothes. I swear!
You may have your NYE outfit picked out. Where are my procrastinators out there?
It’s almost too good to be true…a rare Monday post. I used to be so diligent!
I’ve recovered, and I 100% mean “recovered”, from a busy weekend…ready to tackle Monday. This is what it felt like before when work wasn’t as busy and I was actually productive during the work week. It feels great!
We had the perfect Fall weather this weekend, which if you don’t know me, makes my heart so very happy!
When I think of Fall - there’s always that one item that keeps me up at night. That one piece I have to have. Over the years it’s spanned from coats to denim to OTK boots. All closet staples. This year was no different but it was a bit of a wild card. What I mean is…It’s more of a loud statement piece, which, I am totally okay with. Any ideas?
My wardrobe goal is simple - effortless chic. I have pushed myself to edit my closet ruthlessly these last 60 days and the result is less clutter, clothes I really love, a simplified color palette and pieces that are perhaps pricier but 100% more versatile with mix and matching capabilities.
Hi! Popping in to say, “I’m still alive!” Busy work weeks will do that to you! All that being said, I have some really fun pieces to share starting with this balloon sleeve top. I am somewhat of a late bloomer when it comes to online shopping destinations. I know what I like and I am loyal. Stumbling upon Vici was a happy accident. Thank you Instagram gods.
