I resisted the teddy-type coat for a long time. Guess what? This style isn’t going anywhere and once I laid eyes on this star print…it was over. OVA! Best part? No animals were harmed in the making of this coat. See, everyone is happy.Read More
Some days, in order for me to show up, I’ve got to dress up. Confidence starts within and when I feel good, I perform even better!
We’ve had a rocky start to the week with a sick little one and very little sleep but we’ve hit our midweek stride and I am grateful for that. Yesterday, however, I was running on 2-hours of sleep fumes as was my Lola. Blame the incessant coughing from a nasty little school virus but I knew we had a busy day ahead of us and if I was going to run on all cylinders, I needed to do my hair, my makeup and get DRESSED. Copious amounts of caffeine help, too.Read More
Things have been a little bit more quiet on the blog front and there’s a reason. I kept wanting to write but I needed a moment to process my feelings. The “slow” usually hits right around July; specifically on the weekends. Lazy backyard BBQs, bike riding and a heavy dose of strolling. And when I say strolling…I really mean strolling. One of our favorite Saturday activities is to plan an event and a city lunch. This is where the strolling comes in. Walking the neighborhoods at our own pace is probably my single, most favorite pastime.Read More
If I am going to add a print anywhere in the wardrobe mix, it’s undoubtedly going to be cheetah. A little bit sassy and a whole lotta fun. This is my ideal summer night outfit, too. A simple, well made tank with a flouncy skirt. Add a denim jacket for layered warmth and you’re good to go.Read More
