It was a rainy April but I am all about a fashion challenge. Rounding up my favorite looks for events ranging from WFH to Easter to grabbing tacos with the fam. Need additional links? Lemme know and Happy May!
Read MoreWe have so much to discuss and it’s almost been a month since we traveled for Spring Break. Barely squeaking in this post but better later than never, right? We really had a fun-filled vaca with our favorite neighborhood family. The kids had the trip of a lifetime and dare I say that the parents actually got to relax? Tis true.
Read MoreI posted this dress on my IG feed last Friday and received so may inquiries about it that I knew I was onto something. My dress was part of the Fashion Jackson Amazon Drop Collection and it sold out immediately. It’s incredibly well made and super easy to wear. I wore it here with a pair of Donald Pliner mules but as you can imagine, it looks just as cute with sneaks or sandals. And, in 90 degree heat, it was the ideal solution amidst muggy weather this entire weekend.
Read MoreThe summer arrivals and sales are abundant and still going strong. This is the time of year I scoop up staples from H&M, Mango, Asos and more. Today I am sharing 8 pieces that look extraordinarily luxe but for less. Temps are rising and we may return to lockdown shortly but that doesn’t mean we can’t sit on our patios and dine alfresco all dressed up, natch.
Read MoreI've had this top for awhile and had to get some slight alterations. Read: I do not have a chest at ALL! Now that it fits, I truly love it. You guys, it's $11. No joke.
It looks super chic and date night ready with a pair of liquid leggings or leather pants and equally perfect with your favorite blue jeans. I wore this for a weekend city lunch because the spirit moved me but I knew I was going to be with kids.
Read MoreOne can never have too many white tops. They are a closet staple for me and not all are created equal either. This breezy number is $20 and comes in pink, too. Thinking I may need to acquire the second version. It's forgiving on hot days and the days when you had a bit too much to eat. I wore it in Mexico with shorts and I've already worn it back home with white trousers. It's really a steal of a top and I'm loving the texture. For a more modest look you could pair a white cami with it but I've been wearing it without and feel completely comfortable.
Read MoreIn the spirit of summer festivals, I'm showing you what to wear to Lollapalooza today. A long time veteran of this music mecca, I know firsthand just how sticky, muddy, rainy and uncomfortable festival-going can be so think "less is more." I either aim to wear dresses, like this pink crochet number, or cutoffs. And nothing that I will cry over if it gets trampled on, stained, ripped or wet. Sounds intense right? It is a bit but that doesn't mean you can't look cute while enjoying some of THE best music acts nestled under the Chicago skyline. This fest spans several acres of Chicago public parks featuring every music genre that exists. It's one of my favorite end of summer activities!
Read MoreWhen I saw this dress - I had to have it! It's pink and for god's sake...it has pineapples! I know there's only a short window of summer left in Chicago so plan on me wearing it INCESSANTLY! Surprisingly affordable but it sold out rather quickly so I've linked some rather luxe versions for your shopping pleasure!
