I posted this dress on my IG feed last Friday and received so may inquiries about it that I knew I was onto something. My puff sleeve dress was part of the Fashion Jackson Amazon Drop Collection and it sold out immediately. It’s incredibly well made and super easy to wear. I wore it here with a pair of Donald Pliner mules but as you can imagine, it looks just as cute with sneaks or sandals. And, in 90 degree heat, it was the ideal solution amidst muggy weather this entire weekend.

When the DMs started rolling in, I knew I had to find an alternative for you ladies so that is just what I did! It was incredibly easy because just about every site has a version of it that looks exactly like what I am wearing. I recommend paying attention to sizing - beware. I am wearing an XS in this dress and this style typically has a boxier, roomy fit. Because sizing varies across the board, be sure to check the size chart for each and every website. If you’re not busty like me, it’s probably safe to go down a size due to the fit. That’s my recommendation!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
