I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. In other news, I took an unexpected hiatus from the blog after a strong start to the new year. Frankly, I just needed it which is confusing given we got off holiday break but I digress… The real reason I took a break is because I had a bad case of writer’s block and I was utterly unmotivated. Work has been busy in the best kind of way hence I wanted to ride the wave. I still am but I am popping in to say “hi” and acknowledge that winter is here…but make it fashion! xo

Spring is a time for new beginnings. And there are so many in comparison to last year’s Spring. While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.
