SKILLS: But seriously, what did you really learn in 2020?

I know what you’re thinking. We did vacuum the floors after dinner. It’s been a month since we’ve seen our cleaning goddess and well, here we are…

The real topic of today’s post is about skills. I shared my annual learning and epiphanies here but today is more of a literal translation. A list of sorts. Let’s dive right in!

  1. I made bread and it was good. I made it repetitively.

  2. I made a killer replica medicine ball.

  3. I learned how to eat intuitively.

  4. Dalgona coffee? Who dis?!

  5. I fine tuned the art of happy hour and Negronis.

  6. I shifted my content to focus on chronic illness and body positivity.

  7. I embraced quarantine fashion.

  8. I mastered patience in a pandemic - we endured a major home renovation.

  9. I hosted a socially distant bohemian backyard bash.

  10. I drank 64 oz of tea daily for 60 days straight.

Most importantly. I learned how to enjoy the simple moments and become a better wife and mother. There were many moments that were not pretty but above all, I am most proud of this.
