Windy City.

They don't call it the Windy City for nothing! Actually, the wind, as in the weather, has nothing to do with our beloved name but that's a different story for a different day! Let's talk about this dress! We are well into the infatuation phase. Yup, we move fast!

I am obsessed with the bright pop of neon and the deep V back. It's everything I could want in a summer dress and more! I suppose this would make me a very simply human being but hey, so be it! At least it's not another off-the-shoulder, right?

Monday's call for a little swing don't you think? At least they do in my books which is why this Akira fringe vest seemed like a necessity after a busy Fall weekend. In all honesty, I've become somewhat addicted to jackets + coats in general. Frankly, I think it's completely warranted given how long our winters are. Am I right, girls?

Good fortune.

The weekends have been colorful and I'm not complaining. Carnivals, tacos, grocery store runs, patio sipping and art fests. I think I've always liked August the best out of the summer months. Isn't that funny?

Marathon day.

There's nothing more classic than stripes and khaki's. It's an outfit I don't exercise often because I'm such a dress-kinda-girl but when I look at these photos...I think, "Hey...sometimes I can pull off this whole effortless look?!"
