Read MoreI want to thank each of you for sending positive vibes and prayers after reading yesterday's post. Yesterday was extremely difficult and today proves to be a continuation but I am in search of the small signs from our dog, Lucy. She is resting in heaven with all of our favorite loved ones and her suffering is no longer...which is ultimately the most important thing.
Still, I miss her greatly. The things that used to frustrate me...I now crave. It's funny how that works. Yet another reminder to never take anything for granted.

I write this post with some tugging at the heart strings. Earlier this week my littlest had the stomach flu. Saturday I got body slammed by it crippling me to my bed for an entire day. Yesterday I boarded a plane for a business trip to Austin...that's just when I got the news that my husband and oldest daughter got body slammed by that very same stomach flu. So...here I am...in another state feeling helpless and all together worthless while 50% of my precious bunch is suffering.
Uggg...another reminder...winter is not over...not quite yet.
