When I think of Valentine's Day, I think "amateur night." I'm sorry, I do. Spring is arguably one of the best seasons to get out + about in Chicago. Everyone is in a cheerful mood and the patios begin to open. It's hard not to fall back in love with the Midwest after a long winter. Each year my husband and I reignite our love affair with Chicago and date nights in general. Such was the case for last Friday.
After a particular grueling day on the job, I shed my denim for something flirty and met my husband at Del Frisco's Chicago. Hopping out of the cab, I raced up the grandiose escalator to meet him for a quick glass of bubbles and a catch-up of the day before we sat down to a buzzing dining room of foodies and steak aficionados.
