Laidback linen...part deux.
You remember yesterday’s post featuring my ombre, linen dress by Tommy Bahama, right? Well, today’s post is all about styling my man. He’s a cutie so I thought I’d treat him to something special for Father’s Day. Incidentally, he, too wore his outfit for our date night. We were a walking Tommy Bahama advertisement!
I’m partnering with Tommy Bahama on the new opening of their Michigan + Erie Flagship Store and what you see is the result of a very fun shopping spree with my nuggets. Luxury linen is what I will be wearing all season long. And you will be, too once you attend the opening event that I am co-hosting with several other Chicago bloggers. (invite at the end of this post!)
His linen shirt was a big win. I love the look of linen shirts on guys once warm weather hits. With over 17 colors, you’re sure to find something to compliment every dude’s skin tone. It was a tough choice but ultimately I wanted to get away from dark colors and lighten him up a bit. I also knew I was not getting away with lime green so “bright crème” it is!
His chinos fit amazing. Being that we are a vertically challenged family, it’s hard to find the right inseam that doesn’t come with a $20-$30 alteration expense. These neutral chinos come in nine colors and the quality is amazing.
Such a stud! I could have scooped up an armful of assorted items to freshen up his wardrobe including slub knit polo shorts, great chino shorts, printed swim trunks and more. Definitely check out the modern edge that Tommy Bahama has adopted these days. I promise…your man will thank you!
Happy Thursday and please join me on 7/1 at the Tommy Bahama Flagship Store on Michigan Ave (at Erie) on Wednesday 7/1 from 6 to 8pm! The invite is attached. RSVP here!
