Bows + toes.

The start of many awesome weekends for the books. Sun makes all the difference, you know?

We kicked off the weekend with a date night that extended over to Saturday morning -- thank you grandparents! From there it was errand running, homemade pizzas, wine, friends and naps. Yesterday I shot a fun little feature at home...more on that later, though.

Half way to May.

Happy Saturday! Today's a special posting day and the reason is simple: I was too busy enjoying life yesterday. I've decided that's okay once in awhile.

With that said, this post is really for my husband. You see, three days ago he asked me what I wanted for my birthday...a very loaded question. That being said, I need a workhorse bag to keep all our snacks, extra pairs of underwear + leggings, chapstick, wallet, hand sanitizer and the like straight. Oh! And don't forget the Elsa doll and her three pairs of tiny, miniature shoes. Yeah, those are awesome.

Easter best.

We just returned from a long weekend getaway. It was pretty awesome so see the girls, now older, enjoy sleepovers in their own room, water park slides and roaming the hotel sans stroller. Every year it gets a little bit more fun and a little less complicated. Different challenges of course but overall, more fun as they mature.

Our Easter highlights included a trip up from my parents for brunch and copious jelly beans. The kind of stuff you expect on Easter. That said, my personal highlight was breaking out this skirt again...seems so perfect for the pastel holiday.
