Despite the dreariness that is called winter in the Midwest, the first quarter of 2016 wasn't half bad. I sought out color in a big way...there's only so many parkas you can wear in these style posts! Slowly I ditched the layers and the boots to present day April...which happens to be a shit ton of rain! Oh Chicago!

We took these photos killing time before a meeting this week. And yes, I was optimistically dressed for Spring. I spotted this top on my girlfriend Jen last season and fell in love. Spring is in full swing and I couldn't be happier about it. Everyone's moods have lifted and there are tiny buds popping out from the ground in my front yard.
