I mentioned this in my NYE learnings + epiphanies - sometimes we wonder if Olivia is truly hilarious or if all 4-year olds are just funny in general. The stuff she comes up with kinda shocks me further proving that she will one day be way smarter than I and probably rule the world.
Which is good because I will for sure be exhausted by then!
Read MoreLast week I got to go on not one but two date nights with my husband. I took the entire week off! It was just what the doctor ordered. Uninterrupted conversation, some good food and lots of laughs. Parents needs this once in awhile.

Today I'm sharing a few snaps from our backyard Halloween party last weekend. We invited all of our friends, kids or sans kids, to soak up the 70 degree weather and basically...eat a lot of crap food. Pretty much a perfect day for me but we'll table my junk food addictions for another day.

Turns out it was time well spent with my wiggle worm. My munchkins started preschool this month. They are growing at lightening speed it seems.
Read MoreSunday was Lola's big 2nd birthday. It was only yesterday that I was doing squats in my family room trying to calm a colicky baby. Thank goodness that passed! Looking at her now, she's a bright, very active, talkative toddler who mirrors her sister's every move. It's been fun to watch her grow. (and it's a whole lot easier to communicate with her these days, too!)
