Dining Room Makeover

We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Our Master Bedroom Remodel: Part III <the closet>

The final installment of our master bedroom remodel is here. In case you missed it, read part I and part II. As you can imagine, these posts are huge labors of love hence the delay in rolling them out quickly. The last chapter of this book is entirely focused on my closet. You see, my husband had the brilliant idea that because I have so much “stuff” that I should utilize an under utilized sitting room in our bedroom. Let me be clear that I never asked for it and my husband is also a genius. Also code for: he really wanted to kick me out of the closet! Our Master Bedroom Remodel: Part II

I’ve recapped our bathroom remodel but what about the bedroom? That got a mini-facelift, too! If you’ve been following me for awhile you know that our master bedroom held so much light and was beyond spacious, however, we weren’t fully utilizing the space in a way that made sense. We also had the most awful, baby blue carpet. It was the ultimate thorn in my side every time I walked into the room. Old, beat up and stained from dogs and kids. Yuck!
