This is the time of year where I completely struggle with fashion. I am not invigorated to wear brights and I am totally tired of wearing denim. All things considered, Chicago has seen a great winter...we've suffered much more in the past. Still...those grey days can really get a girl down and I've found myself resorting to black....a lot!
Read MoreLately I've been wanting to change up my usual sartorial choices. Sometimes I don't feel my inner girlie girl. For this look, I wanted to punch it up with a textured, layered look. My cami is faux leather and could definitely be worn alone, however; I thought it would be fun to add an extra layer of warmth rather than put it on reserve for warmer temps. My boots are from Zara. I reach for them constantly and I love the way they look with tights and dresses, too.

Read MoreI've always had the belief that sequins shouldn't be reserved for New Year's only. That seems like a waste of beauty. I believe there is a place for everyday sequins. After all, it has anything and everything to do with your attitude when you wear them. Today's dress is no exception. I can and will find many occasions to wear this lil number. It's even more stunning in person.
