It's good to be back. Sometimes pauses are needed and it wasn't because December wasn't stylish...quite the opposite! It really came down to a need to disconnect and schedules. But I am back with a sweet style post that plays upon a more muted palette. A little change up from the red and sequin favorites that come only with December.

I've linked these statement earrings below for your shopping pleasure. A little unexpected and the perfect pop of color. Surprisingly, they are not heavy on my ears either.

We interrupt this program with a little PSA from yours truly. I was gifted this pair of AG Jeans for a partnership with HauteLook and Nordstrom Rack and man, are they comfortable! Like butter...at first slip on, I was hooked! They are ankle cut to show off your heels with a high waist. They felt like my favorite worn-in pair of denim but an updated version. I love them!!!

You're probably wondering why I skipped over the glittery Mary Janes, right? Trust me...that's next! My brother gave them to me for Christmas. He knows me all too well. What's not to love about rose gold heels, right? They are @ DSW for $40. Can you believe?

Finally, this blush sweater. Under $40 and a great basic. I love the ruffled bell sleeves and you know I adore all things pink!

Looking ahead to 2017, I predict my style will evolve but really stay the same. I think I've found my sweet spot. Denim with a spot of flare and dresses. After all these years, finally knowing and appreciating your body is a wonderful thing.

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
