An artful approach
What inspires you? Is it the energy you receive after attending a great event? Is it a piece of art? Is it googling inspirational quotes? Is it random acts of kindness? Is it reading a new #girlboss piece on your favorite site?
For me, it's all of the above. And for that I consider myself a lucky girl because inspiration is all around! As I sit and daydream about what my dream office would look like, I decided to share the love because it's very easy to get inspired on a dime...thanks to places like West Elm and Etsy.
Today I'm sharing 21 assorted prints that I am currently fawning over. It would be so easy to finish off a small but chic office space with these and an all white desk complimented by a tufted chair, natch. Not that I'm very specific or have a vision...cough, cough.
Who's in for $5 prints that keep your mojo burning strong...even when the coffee pot has completely emptied out? Me!
Happy shopping! xo

What’s your typical state of mind? Is it stress? Is it calm? Is it busy? Is it bliss? Or, if you are like me, it could be a combination of all of the above taking place in a span of 24 hours. That’s more like motherhood, right?
For me, a good scent evokes calm at the end of a stressful day. Calm is so often associated with nature, too. Think citrus, bamboo or orchid. In fact, I’ll do you one better. Think Febreze ONE.
I feel like life is moving at the speed of sound and with it...my blog has been sitting in the corner weeping for more frequency. I am TRYING but man, this time of year is intensely busy. I decided to do an Instagram round up of all the goodness we are experiencing this month and last month.
I think it's safe to say that the one eyesore in our house was the office. Really, I spend the most time in it and it's my domain. It didn't know what it wanted to be other than vanilla walls and a really bad paint job coupled with horrible blue carpet with stains from the kids and muddy feet. It was slightly maddening but it wasn't a priority...until now.
Summer is in full swing and I couldn’t be happier. Summer means more outside time and more family time. No matter how much time we spend outside, everyone, myself included, needs a moment to themselves. I call it “quiet time” and I’ve trained my girls to take an hour everyday.
If you follow my 101 things i love Facebook page, you know my affinity for a good daily deal. I share one every evening. Or at least I try! (if you're not, like my page to see items ranging from great sweaters to heels) Well today is a special exception because while we might be closing the books on January...we're still in the throws of winter.
Gift giving has arrived my friends! When I think of the items I use daily, the absolute necessities in life, they are often brilliant inventions that have a practical function in my life. Believe it or not, they aren't shoes or dresses, they're items that help me function as a parent, a host, an entertainer...you know, an overall renaissance woman of sorts. Totally kidding!
This post is coming at you late for a number of reasons - two of which happen to be: 1. I drank a bottle of wine last night (oops! - summer, it's your fault) and 2. this week is off to a nutty start. I feel like everyone just returned from Memorial Day and needs everything...NOW!

Gettin' real with ya folks. Today you're going to see a bunch of "before's." We're nearing the end of our master bedroom renovation so I thought I would give you an update. It's been ages since we took on a huge project. And for good reason...it's a mess and this fashionista can't stand disorder.
Besides my family’s health and safety, the one thing I am most grateful for in 2018 is friendship. I’ve touched on the subject quite a few times, most recently here, but they have a tremendous impact on my daily outlook and my energy. My girlfriends give me a support system that is irreplaceable.
