Pineapple Express.
This post is coming at you late for a number of reasons - two of which happen to be: 1. I drank a bottle of wine last night (oops! - summer, it's your fault) and 2. this week is off to a nutty start. I feel like everyone just returned from Memorial Day and needs everything...NOW!
But enough about my Monday Pity Party...let's talk home decor! Yup, we are revisiting The Money Pit series and working on some new projects. One of which has to do with a toy room transitioned into an adult living room. Needless to say, I am very excited because it all started with this bar cart that I scooped up at Randolph Street Market over Memorial Day weekend. The cart was refurbished by Finds & Finishes. Taylor is a master "antiquer" with an eagle eye for design details. So much so that this gilded cart had to come home with me. You understand, right?
But a bar cart is only a bar cart without all the goodies that transform it from well-styled to sparkletastic. I know you agree on this notion, too! Well, the Mail Gods prevailed because last Friday I had a new Luxily Boutique Box on my doorstep. This ranks as one of my favorite mail days ever. I call it "Luxily Love Day."
The Pineapple Delight Box was just what this little bar cart needed...a little zhushing and I can now check this item off the list. Would you just look at the "fineapple" goodness? I was beyond thrilled and excited and totally charged to put my goodies to fabulous use!
The pineapple tumbler seriously makes my heart skip a beat. It's my favorite item in this month's box because I have been coveting my girlfriend's so badly for sooooo long. Sip a cocktail from this adorable cup and just rename yourself "Diva-In-The-Making!" And don't be apologetic about it, either!
Marry that tumbler with more pineapple-liciousness including but not limited to plates, napkins, bottle openers and cozy socks and you've got yourself a party in a box! Now who's ready for a cocktail?

People often joke that Valentine's Day is a Hallmark holiday. By and large…it is but why not enjoy it for what it is? I've never met a gal who didn't swoon over pink and red accessories or, for that matter, a guy who didn't enjoy the excuse to eat a fancy dinner out. Like I said, what's not to love?
Well, pucker up buttercup because I took my clan to Woodfield Mall last weekend to round up a quick and easy gifting guide for the ladies and the gents. My oh-so-helpful assistants were on a mission to make everyone happy at just about every price point. <Starbucks' cake pops sweetened the deal>
