5 Really Great Stocking Stuffers for Her.
Like it or not, it's time to get shopping. Black Friday creeps up more and more every year. They really should just make it Black Week. I hear that Ulta is opening up on Thanksgiving now. Do these people not have families? So bazaar to me!
With that said, my husband and I will commence the gift giving season with our annual Black Friday date. Usually we buy about two gifts and then celebrate with a long lunch. It's super productive, ha! No matter what, we all have mothers, girlfriends, bosses and the like to celebrate. Today's post is short and sweet - 5 really AWESOME stocking stuffers to surprise and delight her.
Happy shopping! xo
Tis the season for kissing under the mistletoe which means you better make sure your pearly whites are prepped and primed. I know I’m not alone on this! Even my kids know, “I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus” by heart!
Last week I received a reader request to find chic, ankle booties. This is a job I can get behind. Truthfully, there is no greater love outside of my husband and children, than shoes. Take a peek inside my closet and you’ll know what I mean.
I wasn’t in the mood this year to do a big Black Friday post; I will be honest with you. That was until I woke up this morning and saw the gigantic savings to be had. It gets better and better each year. I swear. I mean….60% off at Nordstrom. You cannot beat that!
Winter is here. The first snow has fallen. My girls were thrilled as I took a deep breath and exhaled thinking about muddy boots, wet paws and all the layers we will now be forced to wear. Sorry for the melancholy. It really is very pretty. It just seems so soon!
Sometimes we need a second to celebrate the ordinary, everyday moments. You know, like hi-5'ing yourself for waking up and getting dressed. Or is that just me? In all seriousness, I often have these fleeting moments of gratitude and I think to myself...how can I express this in a thoughtful way to the people who matter most?
People often joke that Valentine's Day is a Hallmark holiday. By and large…it is but why not enjoy it for what it is? I've never met a gal who didn't swoon over pink and red accessories or, for that matter, a guy who didn't enjoy the excuse to eat a fancy dinner out. Like I said, what's not to love?
Well, pucker up buttercup because I took my clan to Woodfield Mall last weekend to round up a quick and easy gifting guide for the ladies and the gents. My oh-so-helpful assistants were on a mission to make everyone happy at just about every price point. <Starbucks' cake pops sweetened the deal>
I never really made it around to creating big Black Friday and Cyber Monday posts. Life was just too busy and we hosted Thanksgiving which means practically no laptop time. I'm okay with that. Instead, I've converted my "Tuesday Loves" to "The Big Gifting Guide" leading up to Christmas.
Gift giving has arrived my friends! When I think of the items I use daily, the absolute necessities in life, they are often brilliant inventions that have a practical function in my life. Believe it or not, they aren't shoes or dresses, they're items that help me function as a parent, a host, an entertainer...you know, an overall renaissance woman of sorts. Totally kidding!
"Let's do beautiful work together." That's the motto of Luxily Boutique Box, a monthly subscription box filled with gorgeously curated items fit to make any female in your life special. I received my first this week and I am over the moon about how beautifully it was packaged and how unique every item was...which is different than ALL the subscription boxes out there. This one felt special. As if my bestie had hand selected each item specific to my likes and lifestyle.
The colors alone warranted an audible squeal on my part as I opened up my box!
When it comes to my stocking, I thoroughly appreciate a good beauty haul. I don't get to Sephora often but when I do, it feels like birds are circling my head and an angel choir cues up. It's my personal heaven complete with scents, colors, smart packaging, handy tools and more. In a sentence: I get lost. Hand me a cup of coffee and we're really talking!
