Freeze the fat!

If you’ve been following me long enough, you know a few facts about me:

  1. I work out quite a bit and it makes me a more sane person.

  2. My time is very limited because family first!

  3. I have IBS and am allergic to gluten and dairy.

  4. I have two beautiful children and I am in my 40’s.

  5. The area of my body that I struggle with the most <both physically and mentally> is my stomach.

Intricate life and intricate dress.

Life is intricate and one dress does not fit all occasions. That was a major life lesson for me over the years. Some are flirty and some are for business. This is my “get down to business dress.” I found it at Vici, no longer available, but I’ve linked some fun alternatives if you like the cut and style. Regardless, if you like their price points, they have a myriad of lace options that are perfect for summer. Most of their clothes fit TTS for me which seems to be the consensus with most bloggers.

Summer strolls.

Summer speeds up and slows down all at the same time for me. Yes, there are endless activities, parties and sleepovers but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The “slow” usually hits right around July; specifically on the weekends. Lazy backyard BBQs, bike riding and a heavy dose of strolling. And when I say strolling…I really mean strolling. One of our favorite Saturday activities is to plan an event and a city lunch. This is where the strolling comes in. Walking the neighborhoods at our own pace is probably my single, most favorite pastime.

4th of July Outfits: Star Spangled Glam.

If there’s one holiday I am fully supportive of coordinating outfits for - it’s the Fourth of July. Hands down. Every year I snag red, white and blue outfits from Target for the girls because they ride bikes in our hometown parade. <super Normal Rockwell, I know> And, undoubtedly, the temps are near 100+ so cool, comfortable pieces are the name of the game. Bonus points if they transition from day to evening with added layers for the firework show.
