Freeze the fat!
If you’ve been following me long enough, you know a few facts about me:
I work out quite a bit and it makes me a more sane person.
My time is very limited because family first!
I have IBS and am allergic to gluten and dairy.
I have two beautiful children and I am in my 40’s.
The area of my body that I struggle with the most <both physically and mentally> is my stomach.

I was never a girl with washboard abs. Not even in my teens. It’s where I gain my weight and a whole host of bloating challenges due to digestive health. But, we’re not here to talk about that are we? I want you to meet CryoBar. This company has left a permanent mark on my stubborn belly fat with no down time and in 30 minutes flat with each and every visit. The ideal situation for this mompreneur!
I visited their West Loop location exclusively and created a treatment plan with the founder, Sara. We literally have the same health and life history hence an instanteous friendship was created. Over the course of five cryo treatments married with CryoToning treatments and infrared sauna treatments, I literally lost 2.5 inches in my belly area in 1.5 months. Did you read that last sentence? Let me repeat.

So what is CryoSlimming?
Cryoskin is a non-invasive, body contouring treatment from Paris that is used for slimming, cellulite reduction, and toning. CryoSlimming uses the science of cryolipolysis (cell death) through the concentrated application of heat and cold to destroy fat cells. CryoToning helps improve microcirculation and speed up metabolism, which results in higher collagen production. This helps reduce cellulite and improve fine lines and wrinkles.
The treatment lasts for 20 (CryoToning) to 30 (CryoSlimming) minutes and is done with the application of the Cryoskin wand in a massaging technique.
The CryoSlimming technique begins with heat and then a sharp decrease in temperature to -10 degrees to cause fat cell death (cryolipolysis). These cells will be passed out through the lymphatic system.
Results are generally visible after the first treatment; however, it should be noted that the best results appear 15 days to 3 weeks after the first treatment and extend for several months afterwards. The best results occur around 5 sessions – average fat loss was a 38% with a sample of 100 people. We measure the area you would like to be treated before and after the first session and you can see immediate impact. Treatments take between 20 and 30 minutes.
The use of a biweekly infrared sauna treatments allowed my body to flush out additional toxins married with a heavy routing of water intake. Essentially I was sweating out the dead fat cells at a more rapid pace than normal allowing for quicker results. 30 minutes is all you need and you’ll be on your way!
I guess you could call it maintenance. I will be back in monthly for my normal sessions and would even consider targeting other regions such as my arms or side flanks. Note: this is a fraction of the cost of cool sculpting and some of the other services on the market. You’re essentially waking up your metabolism in a safe way using a variance of temperature. It’s easy!
I also think this would be ideal for big events, galas or a wedding. No different then getting a manicure or your hair done, I think this is a genius way to tone up for that fancy dress you bought. And…
it is 100% pain free!
