When I think of Fall - there’s always that one item that keeps me up at night. That one piece I have to have. Over the years it’s spanned from coats to denim to OTK boots. All closet staples. This year was no different but it was a bit of a wild card. What I mean is…It’s more of a loud statement piece, which, I am totally okay with. Any ideas?

Okay I’ll tell you…it’s these amazing Louise et Cie sock booties. Talk about comfort! I snagged mine at Nordstrom and linked them below. Completely reasonable and you don’t even need to worry about what you’re wearing on top because these boots make the outfit entirely. They are just that good. And they come in black, too!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
