We had the perfect Fall weather this weekend, which if you don’t know me, makes my heart so very happy!

My sweater is Topshop last season and the denim I picked up this year on sale. I’ve linked a similar pair. The trumpet flare shape is my new favorite. So cute with flats or ankle boots. Honestly, I wish I would have bought the black pair as well. Keep your eyes peeled if you love my striped pair. They were gone in a flash due to the sale but they do bring back this style frequently.

Spring is a time for new beginnings. And there are so many in comparison to last year’s Spring. While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
