My top home essentials.

Safe to say we’ve reached that point in quarantine where all the days are starting to look the same and feel like they’re slowly creeping by. What day is it anyway? We all know March was the longest year ever and as many of us have realized, staying home day in and out is no easy feat. In my household, we’re trying to develop as much of a routine as possible to keep life feeling as “normal” as possible. I’ve found that staying cozy and attempting to make quarantine comfortable is the key to keeping positive. That and making your bed! Below I’m sharing some of my favorite home essentials with you during these challenging times.

Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer: This product is literally life changing. Revlon’s hot tool is a round-brush and blow dryer in one, and it is PERFECT if you’re looking to cut down the time it takes to style your hair after a wash. What normally takes me 45 minutes has been widdled down to 12 minutes! It also saves you the hassle of having to hold a blow dryer and brush at the same time, so you can get the job done quicker and easier. It’s available in multiple colors, too!

Lounge Sets: Currently, I’ve been LIVING in lounge sets. Not only are they an easy outfit to transition into from pajamas, but they’re also so comfortable and cozy and make you still feel somewhat put together. (I linked two of my faves below!) PS - mine double as pajamas. Just sayin!

Cookie Cutter Set: Keeping the kiddos occupied isn’t always easy, but I’ve found that baking is a fun and interactive activity for them to join in on when all else fails. Plus it counts as Home Ec. Throwing some cookies onto a sheet is super easy, and the kids love shaping them. This set comes with 18 shapes so they have plenty to play with and mold. We use them for kiddo fruit sushi and charcuterie boards, too.

Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo: My heart goes out to all my blonde babes struggling during this time. Beating brassy hair can be difficult and we still have quite some time left before we can make it to our beloved salons. Make upkeep for your beautiful blonde locks manageable with this purple shampoo. Leave on while you shave your legs for cooler, ashier tones.

Elderberry Supplements: Supplements are super essential during this time, especially for the little ones. Keep their immune systems up and running with these power-packed gummies. (They taste great too!) No arm twisting required. Discover all of my favorite supplements here.

Throw Blanket: I’d consider this one a no-brainer. Keep cozy under this flannel/fleece throw. (Comes in lots of colors.) We have gifted everyone on our staff one of these puppies. They are so so good you won’t want to share!

A Good Book: Sometimes you just want to crawl up in the corner with a good read and ignore the quarantine struggle until it’s over. Or at least all the news propaganda. Just me? Currently, I’m reading “The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You,” and I love the takeaway. It’s exactly the bright light we need during this difficult time. Bonus point: I saw Lydia speak in-person in NYC and she is every bit as authentic and powerful as the title of this book. A true dynamo.
