Festive friends.
Hi! Missed you guys! I am anything but put together this holiday season. Case and point: it took me three days to get this post together. Yikes! I'm drowning in work and holiday events + shopping but so are all of you, right? Right! Which means only one thing - it's time for a GNO!
Today I'm sharing holiday party looks with none other than my bestie, Jen of Red Soles and Red Wine! Girls who glam together, stay together and this post is courtesy of boohoo; my favorite on-trend, online destination.
First, bring on the bling! I accessorized my outfit in Bauble Bar goodies and I do believe less is more! A strong statement earring and simple ring does the trick; both of which I linked directly to below for your shopping pleasure!
Second, when in doubt: wear RED! Both Jen and I adore the color. I opted for a monochromatic look donning head to toe crimson. I feel like December is one of the best months to get away with this look. Don't you think?
My shoes are last season, Akira. They are an instant mood boost. You know what they say.. "The higher the heel, the closer to God."
Third, add a fabulous faux fur. Mine is from H&M two seasons ago. It's lightweight but warm and great with bodycon dresses like the one above. Jen's is from her own company, T+J Designs. It is so soft!
Fourth and final, add a big heaping dose of fun! When Jen and I are together, we always have fun and that's really the most important ingredient. Plus, if you're going to freeze in Chicago weather, you need a good sport for pictures. Jen's plunging goddess gown is not only stunning on her but quite literally the most figure flattering dress. If only I had boobs!
