You'll never hear me complain about wearing sequins. Sequins give me life. And I happen to know a great many women that share my sentiment. My partner and my best friends as a matter of fact!  

Here's why I love this little diddy from Monique Boutique. It's the perfect amount of sexy but still tasteful. Long sleeves and a shorter hemline make this suitable for my upcoming wedding. And since the Midwest isn't exactly balmy yet...I might be able to skip a coat that evening. I think this dress would also be super cute with a pair of hot pink or red heels.

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
