What's not to love about today? Roses, candy and the color RED! I woke up to a dozen roses and I am not complaining. My girls - pink carnations. So utterly sweet. Cupid is not stupid.

And for those who snub this Hallmark holiday…stop! Wear all the pink and red and enjoy it! The sun is shining and it's not frigid. That's two reasons to smile right there. Oh and this dress, $18. No, I am not kidding. Cannot even tell you how many compliments I receive on it. Too many to count. It comes in black, too!

Paint that pout and hug a little longer today, my friends. Happy Valentine's Day!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
