If you're going to sport the basics...details are everything. Like this navy top I found at the most adorable shop: YM Boutique. From the front it appears to be a basic, navy blouse which has a ton of versatility in and of itself. It's the lace detail in the back that really packs the punch. Paired with my favorite white denim - it's one of my favorite looks for the work week!

Jessica Fong launched YM Boutique a little over a year ago with the intention of bringing fabulous fashion trends to suburbia. A little bit of Cali mixed with a whole lot of style. I fell in love with so much it was hard to make my way to the dressing room! (even this adorable tassel necklace is from YM)

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
