Lunch date.

Every once in a while you have a weekend that hits on all four cylinders. Such was the case for this weekend. Between gorgeous weather, weddings and spontaneous family visits...I couldn't have asked for more relaxation.

I even snuck in some alone time to putz around the house get organized. Eventually all my little, organized piles become a total hindrance in our available counter space.

Big shocker here, all neutrals again. I have no idea what's going on. 

I've become totally addicted to my new, SHOPBOP sunnies, too. My husband said they require a certain type of outfit. Gosh, I was aiming for my new, everyday sunnies! What do you think? Too loud?

Spring is a time for new beginnings. And there are so many in comparison to last year’s Spring. While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
