Groovy.

I had a conversation about karma last night with a few blogger friends. One of the true gifts of this hobby. We chatted about the industry and how it's changing and of course, the people in it. It's interesting...with all the crazy things happening in this world...there is still a disconnect in supporting one another. Specifically amongst women. This topic is such a head scratcher for me because we all have something unique to bring to the table. Why not celebrate that vs. worry SO much about what our peers are doing?

Perhaps it's a product of age or motherhood or entrepneurial-hood but I have less time to care what others think. Truthfully, I still internalize negativity. Mean comments/actions still hurt my feelings but I have learned to move on quicker because I have less bandwidth than I used to.

I might complain that I have less time often but in all actuality, it's somewhat of a gift because it forces you to prioritize what you really care about.

And that means I give ZERO effs these days because I am running at such a frenetic pace. I look forward to 70 when I REALLY don't care! Ha!

Back to the subject of supporting one another. This whole Instagram community could spontaneously combust tomorrow and there seems to be a lot of competition surrounding it. My advice? Move to snapchat and have fun for gosh sakes! Or even better...

put down your phone and sit in the grass, meet your friends for a drink, eat that piece of chocolate and watch that Real Housewives. More importantly...you do you. There's no one else like you!
