Summer Fridays are meant to be slightly lazy with a dash of "I woke up like this"...at least in my opinion. I've been wearing these leisure trousers all summer. With an elastic waist, it seems like the perfect solution to a Friday fashion conundrum or a Monday after a weekend full of indulging. Which, is kinda always the case for me. Hello Summer rosé!

I found the perfect tank to match it for under $20 and I've been living in these sandals. They look great with everything and gosh darn it, sometimes you need to give your feet a rest from those stilettos. This entire look is under $120 and can worn so many ways. 

On the docket this weekend, we've got a lot of girl time. Legos, possible ear piercings, friends and hopefully some really sound sleep. This week felt like a month crammed into one block of time and momma's tired! Happy Friyay!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
