Denim days.

I haven't forgotten about blogging. I swear. It's just...well, I really needed some time off and that came in the form of a holiday weekend. It was SO nice to unplug and not worry. Just be present! I talk a big game but it's rare that I really follow through all the way. 

How was your weekend by the way? From concerts to BBQ's to parades, birthday's and fireworks...I was one happy but exhausted girl and so was my little family. The proof? My little ones woke up at 9:15am today which they've NEVER done...ever. In the history of being alive! The house was so quiet!

I cherish these lazy summer days, truly. It's what being a kid is all about. Matted hair, bronzed skin and nowhere to be....well that only applies to them; as it should be!

I, on the other hand, am working off four heavily caloric days. I'd like to say I regret it but it was delicious...even if my abs are hidden a bit. Oops. Damn you 4th of July cake!

P/S This dress is a great solution to those Monday blues...aka: I ate too much! It's cute, on trend and under $30!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.
