Isn't this wall amazing? I've been seeing it around Instagram and wondered where it was until we literally ran into it on Sunday on our way to brunch. A happy discovery!

You've seen this outfit or a variation of it before. Why mess with something that works? I've got these jeans on heavy rotation so expect to see more. It's nice to rock something other than skinny jeans for a change. 

What I love about this outfit is that its comprised of items we all have in our closets. There's nothing groundbreaking here and it's a far better alternative for brunching than sweats!

I wear these heels constantly. They look so great with denim and completely elongate my short legs.

Special thanks to my husband who pinch hit and snapped a few photos. I know he was silently rolling his eyes but when you see a wall this great...you don't pass it up. 

Chicago is about to acquire some major street art which I'm excited for. Who shoots your OOTD's? Husband? Boyfriend? Fellow blogger? They are such saints!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
