8 beauty products I can't get enough of.
I’ve been receiving quite a bit of new beauty products as of late and I ain’t mad about it. Spring is the perfect time to switch skincare routines and opt for lighter, cleaner beauty. Thank God it’s here. It’s been a long winter. And while I haven’t gone 100% clean beauty, I am slowly still inching my way. Additionally, there were some purchases made towards restocking my favorites on last minute runs before Europe. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at some of my drugstore finds.
So good, I had to share!
THE GOOD OIL HONEYSUCKLE AND TURMERIC FACE OIL: Turmeric has so many healing properties, mainly inflammation. I have to say not only do I love how this product smells but it glides on effortlessly and absorbs instantly. I’ve switched out my heavy serums to this facial oil and it’s been a match made in heaven ever since. 72% organic ingredients, vegan and cruelty free.
REVLON COLORSTAY FULL COVER FOUNDATION: IT Cosmetics got me hooked on their matte cc cream but I ran out. In a pinch I grabbed this drugstore version and I have to tell you it was just as great for a fraction of the cost. For a mere $13.99 my skin was poreless while maintaining a matte feel from day to night. No cakey coverage.
TONY MOLY CATS WINK CLEAR PACT: This little compact is an oily girl’s dream come true. I’ve been obsessing over Korean beauty and have a few other Tony Moly products and this product is no different. $13 will give you the perfect oil absorbing compact that not only smells divine but looks equally cute in your clutch.
BAMBOO CHARCOAL EYES: You might look a little goofy but these little suckers are instant eye brightners and they suck out the toxins. I wore them on the plane and through my jet lag period. Cooling with no mess and my eyes did feel a little brighter and tighter. You get three pair in a pack for $12.00.
BOTANICS ORGANIC TONING SPRITZ: I am obsessed with this spray. All toners really but I feel good about putting this product on my skin. This is part of Target’s clean beauty section and retails for $9.99. I spray before I put makeup on to prep my skin and after cleansing at night to tone and remove excess impurities. The smell is wonderful. Toning is a necessary step; don’t skip it!
MAELLE SECRET ILLUMINATOR: I received this product in a goodie bag and was about to give it away but something told me not to. I am horrible at applying highlighters, too! Horrible. This one could not be easier. Simply click and dab. I use it under the corners of my eyes right above my cheek bones and it gives this pretty little glow. It has concealer qualities but I just like a little fairy dust on my face. It’s subtle and sweet.
RODAN + FIELDS LASH BOOST: Wow, seeing is believing. This product is not cheap at $120 but after about 45 days, my lashes were touching my upper eyelids. Skip the damaging lash extensions which will run you the same if not more and grab this product fast. It’s outstanding and now, there is no way I could stop using it. A true test is when you see mascara smudges on your brow bone. Success!
COVERGIRL COLORLICIOUS LIP LINER IN BELOVED: Hear me out on this one but this product looks wonderful on every skin tone. It’s this fabulous mauve which is great for building color with matte glosses and lipsticks. I am in love with this shade and it stays put. It’s not one of those crappy liners but here’s the catch…it’s $4.97. I am telling you, I recently went on a binge and bought seven different lip liners and this was by far and away the gold star.
That’s a wrap! Would love to know what you guys are loving as of late in the beauty department? Share in the comments. Happy shopping! xo
Do blondes really have more fun?
Maintaining this ashe-y blonde hue is an absolutely commitment. If you’re going to pursue this shade of blonde, you have to know what you’re signing up for. It’s been several years and lotsa dollars for me but I absolutely love it.
