I'm still feeling the black but this time with a pop of PINK! My all time favorite color. My girls ask me weekly what my favorite color is and every week I tell them the same response - PINK, ALWAYS PINK! They must be really bored with dear old mom. 

I fell in love with this top firstly for the color - spoiler alert! - and second for the feminine details. I can honestly tell you that I do not own a top with ruffles and a cold shoulder. Too much fun for one top! This color is flattering on every skin tone and for a girl who's nearly translucent like myself, it can bring even the most pale skin tones to life with the help of a strong lip!

And the pants? Girls...these are the most comfortable pair of leather legging meets denim I have ever worn. Leather in the front enveloped by black ponte, stretch fabric that feels like sweatpants but looks like dressed up denim. I am never taking them off! Period. 

Such a good style week, right? New seasons bring new fashion and what's not to love about that?

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
