I don't know if it's the impending snow flurries due today or the fact that my holiday season started in November and I'm already slightly annoyed at dressing up every day but I gotta tell you...throwing on some jeans and a big, chunky sweater just feels good. I actually don't mind the cold temps if I'm dressed right. Spoken like a true Midwesterner.

All kidding aside. I am in the festive mood. Don't wreaths, Sorels and chunky sweaters make you want to reach for your nearest cup of hot cocoa and watch Frosty? I know I'm not alone on this one.

And don't forget the bold lip!

I've decided to put a different spin on my winter uniform and throw on an unexpected glam piece like this t+j designs necklace. Kinda dresses it up a bit. Even if you're just running to pick out your Christmas tree!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.
