A staycation to remember at the Swissotel.

I've been wanting to write this post for some time. Problem was I had so many photos to edit and sort through because our staycation was that magical. Undoubtedly the best we've every had as a little family and it all began with the Swissotel Chicago.

When I tell you they went above and beyond the call of duty to make our Valentine Weekend one to remember...I truly mean it and I can only hope that the pictures do it justice but that's highly unlikely. Every nook and cranny of our suite was decorated with a level of detail that exceeded my expectations. And the look on my family's face was enough to know that I had hit a home run in partnering with this amazing venue. 

Perched on the 39th floor, we took in amazing views amidst the newly renovated rooms that were reimagined with children in mind. I think you can see what I mean. The sheer space alone was enough to make us want to cancel all our plans and stay another night. 

Our in-house collaboration partner brought in outside vendors to set up sweet Valentine stations. Our favorite was Make to Celebrate! She handcrafted little heart pinatás filled with all the necessary tools to construct homemade Valentines. The girls dug in immediately! These women are brilliant and do a wide array of events; kids' parties included.

No detail was left out. This was the kids' bathroom. Obviously we had to take baths...after a spin at the pool, natch! Below you'll see my family digging into a wide array of board games, puzzles and toys. Yup. That was set up for us upon arrival as well!

I could continue to gush but I will the pictures speak for our visit. And let us not forget that the Swissotel does not forget about the parents either. Jack and I were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne and sweets; non-alcoholic for the little ladies.
