Not another holiday gift guide.
I’m a pretty good gift giver, relatively speaking. There are only a few people on my holiday list that stump me each year and it’s usually related to budget and their role in my life. For example, what do you get the teacher that gets loads of ornaments and chocolate? Or the cleaning woman who has been with your family for a decade? Or the musical theater teacher? You want it to be meaningful, reasonable and you definitely want to avoid status quo. Anyone feel me on this?
With that said, I know holiday gift guides serve a purpose. I do. I also know bloggers have bludgeoned the whole concept to death so I have but one question for you…okay well, two.
Are you interested in gifting guides still?
What type of categories are you interested in?
I had to ask because we all know how to shop and rather than dole out some repetitive content; I thought I would poll the people. My people. Tell me your thoughts and be honest.
Onto other news - it’s #Thanksgiving Week! Many of us are scratching our heads as to how we got here but I, for one, am very excited for some time off. This whole “running like a chicken with her head cut off” is not the life for me. Ironic as I type this because it’s literally my life 24/7 in a nutshell.
The next to last question we’re all thinking of, “What am I going to wear?” Well, I can tell you I will be wearing a variation of the above outfit. No sexy cami or mini skirt BUT I will for certain be wearing this AT tweed blazer because it is the perfect layering piece. Pair this with a sailor trouser, liquid leggings or a black pencil skirt and I am set for a cozy meal at my in-laws. Don’t forget that tissue-thin turtleneck, which is my #1 styling tip for all your winter layering needs. Ta-da!

It was a rainy April but I am all about a fashion challenge. Rounding up my favorite looks for events ranging from WFH to Easter to grabbing tacos with the fam. Need additional links? Lemme know and Happy May!
