5 party pumps for your holiday.
I shared my top five holiday dresses with you here. Today is all about your tootsies. I take shoe selection very seriously. To me, they can make or break an outfit. They are the proverbial icing on your sartorial cake. With the holidays approaching, I couldn't help but ogle a few more pairs that I'd like to add to my collection. (hello Loeffler Randall, I'm comin' for ya)
one | Oscar de la Renta: Metallic heels do over time because they mix and mingle with every dress you have hanging in your closet. Consider it a glam neutral. The gorgeous lines on these heels are about as flattering as it gets. I love the pointed toe but I love the hint of gold in the inner heel even more. "You so fancy, you already know...you're in the fast lane...From L.A. to Tokyo." (that song is ingrained in my brain, sorry)
two | Badgley Mischka: Bejeweled pumps. There's a time and a place for 'em and it's the holidays. Not only are these bejeweled but their jewel toned. Extra points for seasonality. These Badgley's are reminiscent of that notorious pair of Manolo's Carrie Bradshaw was gifted by Big. Truthfully, I think that's why I was drawn to them. No doubt, a conversation starter with any LBD or even a metallic, sateen dress. Stunning!
three | Michael Kors Collection: Michael has done it again! He's taken the over-played cage heel and turned it on its head. It's sexy, sophisticated, detailed and studded. Hittin' on all four cylinders. Natch, it's in the season's hottest color, too: oxblood. Pair this with a dress now and a fantastic pair of trousers for work later. Stud!
four | Matiko: I'm a sucker for a delicate, d'orsay pump. I love the way they make my feet appear making this vertically challenged girl look somewhat taller with longer stems. What's not to love? This suede pair are a perfect height for the parties requiring you to stand around the piano belting out Christmas tunes. I can almost guarantee you will get your ROI in less than 365 days.
five | Loeffler Randall: Be still my heart! These blush beauties made my little ticker flutter. My last choice was geared towards owning at least one great nude pair of heels but I am going to back track because I think blush can be a nude. The block heel - OMG, comfort is that you? The contemporary pointed toe and platform - Loeffler, you really outdid yourself! (you'll be seeing these in future style posts)
