I bought this dress for NOLA but never got a chance to photograph it because we were too busy having fun! Months later I thought I would bring it one more time before everyone breaks out the pumpkin spice lattes. A sad truth so I am trying to savor the season.

September is settling in but we’ve got an Indian summer going here, which, I quite like. I wore this outfit for a much-needed girls’ dinner this week and it was just what the doctor ordered. These girls are just a blast. The more serious parental talks down to the husband, work, fashion talks. We cover it all and hope to make it a monthly situation. At least I hope!

I’m off to plan a little family birthday dinner for my hubs who turned 40 yesterday. Happy to no longer be his cougar mistress. I hope you’ve had an amazing week!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.
