Jewelry stacks, like perfume, are so personal. It’s taken me years to create the perfect chain gang and I’ve finally landed on the winning combo. Not only is each piece purchased from a female owned business but they perfectly compliment each other at varying lengths and pendant sizes. At minimum, I wear three chains daily and I never take them off regardless if I work out or shower.

My best tip is to layer with texture and varying lengths. I wear the Ora Ana piece as the delicate, foundational piece. The second piece is my evil eye which I never take off because I am superstitious and the third piece is one of the heavier chain link pieces. Necklines vary day to day but these are my go-to. I've had this crochet dress for several years and never shot in it. Crazy, I know. Literally the 8th Wonder! I kid. In all honesty, it was relatively inexpensive from the ever-popular ASOS website. I love it for two reasons. I can dress it up as shown above AND I can pair it with a pair of combat boots for a totally different look. Just add a leather jacket!

Weekends are for sun and smiles. And that's just what we did! I guess you could say this is a week of stylish photography with my littles. Every once in a while they like to make a cameo and I am happy to oblige.

Olivia is such a ray of sunshine. I think you can see it in these photos. This year has been such a big year for her growth. She's one of the funniest and brightest kindergartners I know. Naturally. Being her mom is one of the most rewarding jobs of all time. I wish I could take credit for her personality but I think Livie just has all sorts of goodness in her. She is caring and protective of her sister. She adores her father. She is thoughtful and makes little gifts for her grandparents. She works hard on her school work and she is a gifted little artist. I love seeing her creativity blossom.

I've always had the belief that sequins shouldn't be reserved for New Year's only. That seems like a waste of beauty. I believe there is a place for everyday sequins. After all, it has anything and everything to do with your attitude when you wear them. Today's dress is no exception. I can and will find many occasions to wear this lil number. It's even more stunning in person.

We're entering the season of love. Naturally I am gravitating towards winter maxi dresses and anything faux fur. Tis the season!

All right. Black Friday is around the corner. It's time to get serious. We all know the struggle. It's hot in the stores, cold outside and you're gonna get pushed around like a fat kid in a donut shop. What do you wear? I'll tell you...this outfit. It's ventilated and the jacket is not required.

Chicago is experiencing a Fall unlike any other. Perfectly brisk mornings and cool nights. I even heard that we might have some frost in the evening. This is the quintessential Chicago that I know and love. Bring on the leaves!

And so it begins...school buses, back packs, new teachers and rainy mornings. I quite love the start of a new school year but not for the obvious reasons. I'm a huge fan of a new season. That's why we stay in the Midwest. No one can argue with a Chicago Fall because it's just about the perfect temp and the most stunning colors you've ever experienced.
