Oh my gosh - I am so late with this post. I've been meaning to post it all day. Perhaps it's the frigid temps that are leaving me brain dead. You can't imagine how cold we were shooting this. Chicago is just a mess of seasons right now!

So! I must tell you about this amazing vest by Coalition LA. To say I am obsessed would be an understatement. It's fitted, not at all boxy, which, is a dream come true for this petite human. Most faux fur vests are boxing and unflattering but that is definitely not the case with their outwear. It cinches you in all the right places. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it. And, there's another reason to love them even more - not only is it faux, it's vegan and cruelty-free without sacrificing warmth. Like I said, obsessed!

I'm wrapping up the week with gobs of work and a blog rebrand. Still working out the kinks but I'd love to hear your feedback. I've been ruminating on my logo identity. Both my husband and girlfriend both felt the star wan't me. What do you think is? Weigh in below. I'd love to hear your feedback.

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
