5 ways to get your holiday dress on!
Dresses. The unofficial holiday uniform. Love it or leave it...they will buy you entry into any party and you will never be under dressed. As a fellow dress lover, the holidays just give me an excuse to go all-out and toss in a few fun metallics.
Here's my fail proof guide to nailing your holiday dress this season!
one | re:named: Lace is always a good idea when it comes to cocktail wear. Top it off with a festive color like this crimson version and you're a sure thing. I love the unexpected, short hem and the delicate sleeves. To dress it down, throw on a moto jacket and some booties.
two | rachel zoe: This stunner is my favorite on the list. Typically, I gravitate towards shorter hems but this classy maxi with gorgeous cut-outs stole my heart. It's sexy, neutral and slimming. The silhouette kills me and I love that you can mix up your accessories to create an entirely new look. #1!
three | dkny: I harp on texture a lot so why not incorporate it into your holiday dress code? Cap sleeves and a feather skirt make this little number equally as great with a blazer and tights. OR...pair it with a stunning red, suede heel...BAM!
four | alice + olivia: What are the holidays without metallics? Atypical but equally as brilliant, this cranberry metallic, striped dress with skater skirt is, say it with me, A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. Where's the mistletoe because you should be wearing this under it?! P/S I'd rock it with a pearl collar necklace!
five | parker: The sparkler. This is it. Save this for your NYE fete and rock it with a sexy, faux tan and big voluminous curls. Don't forget the red lipstick. Parker is notorious for creating sexy dresses without bearing too much. I have several in my closet that I save for special occasions...two of which I have kept for a decade. How's that for classic?
Happy shopping! xo
