The {faux leather} short of it.

You can't take the city out of the girl. It may be Sprummer here in Chicago but black will always be a wardrobe staple in my closet. I've managed to hang onto these faux leather shorts for nearly a decade and I am so glad I did. The style never goes out and they fit like a dream. Comfy in every way possible. As for my jacket, I scored it in March at a Macy's sale. Probably one of the best steals ever. I love a good designer piece but when the price tag reads $29, well, you just have to get it! Can be worn open with a tank or zipped up as shown above. 

We are slowly getting back into a groove this week. And by groove I am talking about finishing up the school year <yikes!>, work, more travel for my husband and blogging! I'm looking forward to the slower days of summer and finding some inspiration within. You might have noticed that my blog posts have been spotty. I can assure you I am not going anywhere but a much needed recharge was in session.
