The Final Edit: #NSale picks (part deux)
I was so incredibly surprised at the popularity of last week's #NSale post that I decided to bring back a final edit of what's left that you should most definitely scoop up. Is it me or did they add more inventory? There are STILL so many fantastic deals. Dare I say I am kind of getting excited about Fall?
Most popular item from last week's post? These SPANX leggings. 22 of you purchased them including myself. The item I am most excited about this week? This patent pencil skirt. I can't wait to pair it with a rocker tee. And the shoes...oh the shoes. Don't even get me started!
Are you still scooping up deals or are you over hearing about this sale? I must say, I have grown tired of it over the years but I think I've finally come around. I promise this will be the last you hear of it this season because it ends this Sunday on 8/5/18.
Happy shopping! xo
We are at the point in the summer, although it hasn’t “officially hit” where the basics become the wardrobe staples that we reach for each and every morning.. A solid pair of cut offs, the most perfectly worn in sandals, light knits, denim jackets and more. Toss in some air-dry hair and you are really speaking my language. This is essentially my summer playlist.
Three more days! It’s incredibly hard to believe that the school year is over which leads me to one question: did you remember to say “thank you” to your teachers? I will be honest in that I completely spaced and feverishly hit the internets on Sunday in a panic. How could I have forgotten?
Meet my girl, Zandra. She’s the latest addition to the Rockport Summer Collection and she is just perfect. She mixes well with frocks just as well as she does with cutoffs and tees. She does well with any crowd. She pounds the pavement with ease in the concrete jungle just as seamlessly as she does on suburban soccer fields. Currently my MVP for the Summer!
It’s no secret. Amazon is just a black hole of amazing deals. Admittedly, I’ve been tumbling down that hole pretty frequently this Spring. Whenever new trends hit, someone just slap a “sucker” sticker on my head. I am officially the best consumer in ‘Merica.
Previous years didn’t affect me as much as this birthday. Not sure why. Eight might as well be ten as far as I’m concerned. She just doesn’t feel like a little girl anymore and while it’s wonderful to see her grow and I couldn’t be more proud…gosh, I am not ready to let go of that little baby. This is a sentimental birthday for me. Missing teeth and all.
I feel pretty confident that women all around the Midwest are rejoicing at the sight of sunshine and blooming flowers. That only means one thing to us: sandal season.
I’ve been receiving quite a bit of new beauty products as of late and I ain’t mad about it. Spring is the perfect time to switch skincare routines and opt for lighter, cleaner beauty. Thank God it’s here. It’s been a long winter. And while I haven’t gone 100% clean beauty, I am slowly still inching my way. Additionally, there were some purchases made towards restocking my favorites on last minute runs before Europe. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at some of my drugstore finds.
I am the self proclaimed Graphic Tee Queen. I’ve long had a love affair with them before they ever became cool. And now, as an adult, you’ll find me in a typical uniform that looks like this: tee, high waisted denim, polished blazer and heels. <sometimes sneakers. more on that later.>
I had to think long and hard about what to pack for this trip. And by this trip I am referring to London and Paris. This wasn’t going to be a Fashion Week trip although I did want to maintain some level of style. This was a family trip with much warmer temps than our Chicago. With that said, it’s been awhile since I’ve had to travel international which begs the question…what are my carry-on travel essentials?
You’ve probably gathered that I caught a strong gust of inspiration while traveling to Aspen. Probably needed as my blog has taken a back seat to work during the months of January and February. But, sometimes you need to do that. There are only 24 hours in one day and I need to sleep at least one of them!
