Let's Go White Sox! <+ a giveaway!>

I come from two big families of White Sox fans. It's simply not an option to root for anyone else. With that said, it's only fitting that we raise our girls to love summer baseball games and the Chicago White Sox as much as we do.

Last summer we took them to their first home game and they stayed all nine innings. I was shocked! They loved the people, the food and all the entertainment. There might have been a nap there in between but I also observed several gentlemen over the age of 10 doing the same so when in Rome...

Well, this summer we cannot wait to return as a family and bring along the grandparents. The Chicago White Sox have so many fun game day themes and activities for the kids. I wanted to share a few with you + a special giveaway just in time for THIS WEEKEND!

Not only are the games a great outing but many of the themes help support the Chicago White Sox Charities. This weekend is no exception!

As a matter of fact, Family Field Day is on Saturday, May 12, 2018 and it will offer fans the opportunity to experience Guaranteed Rate Field like a major leaguer. How cool is that? 

Here's the scoop:

• Chicago White Sox Charities will hold Family Field Day on Saturday, May 12.

• This family-friendly event will offer fans the opportunity to experience Guaranteed Rate Field like a major leaguer with a chance to and play catch on the outfield grass, warm up in the bullpens, visit the dugouts and pose for photos on the field.

• Fans have the chance to purchase game-worn items, including jerseys and pants, game-used equipment, autographed memorabilia and more at the annual Garage Sale, located near Gate 2.

• The Garage Sale is open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and admission is free.

• Tickets remain available for one-hour sessions to Family Field Day between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The cost of admission to a session is $30 per adult and $12 per child. Additional details are available at this link.
