Hello Summer Babes! It’s a holiday week and the honestly, the sales are abundant. I never subscribe much to holiday sales because I am usually too busy entertaining or socializing but these are just too good to pass up.

Like beyond and the only reason I think they are uniquely different this year is because of this horrible pandemic and what it’s done for the retail industry. While this is heartbreaking for both big and small businesses, I have to tell you that now is the time to support this community and scoop up the best end of season gear for you, the kids, the home and the hubby. From organization to sundresses to outdoor furniture - the deals are incredible! Don’t forget to shop black owned businesses, too! Where you put yours dollars kills two birds, one stone.

Despite an incredibly tumultuous two years in pandemic world, I think this year’s holiday festivities will be quite the cause for celebration. We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.

Quickie post today as I spent the weekend literally spending all my money on May holidays and birthdays. May is pure insanity for us every year. It’s the fastest month that usually leaves me feel like I have whiplash come June 1.
