Three more days! It’s incredibly hard to believe that the school year is over which leads me to one question: did you remember to say “thank you” to your teachers?  I will be honest in that I completely spaced and feverishly hit the internets on Sunday in a panic. How could I have forgotten?

Thank goodness for Amazon Prime - every mother’s knight in shining armor. I scoured the site to find cute, useful items that would bring a smile to not only our school teachers but also our theater coach, our dance teacher and our beloved nanny who will be leaving us for good next week. Despite an incredibly tumultuous two years in pandemic world, I think this year’s holiday festivities will be quite the cause for celebration. We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.

Quickie post today as I spent the weekend literally spending all my money on May holidays and birthdays. May is pure insanity for us every year. It’s the fastest month that usually leaves me feel like I have whiplash come June 1.
