School supplies

School begins tomorrow. How that happened I will never know but here we are...scrambling last minute for lunchmeat and folders. Ahhh, the glamorous life! 

I'm a bit frenetic at the moment but I wanted to bring back the "love lists" as Fall always gives me a lustful eye towards online shopping. I've actually refrained for quite a bit but there is too much goodness out there. And if you couldn't tell, I have a major shoe shopping itch. Fancy that! Below are six items that I am keeping tabs on.

  1. I've never met a pink sneaker I did not like.

  2. These skinny denim are the perfect ankle length for heels. Thinking long and hard about them.

  3. The Larise Bootie is the perfect peep toe for Fall. Gah with the shoes already!

  4. I'm a sucker for ruffles!

  5. Snakeskin is a neutral for Fall...these go with everything.

  6. Gingham and ruffles. Nuff said.

Despite an incredibly tumultuous two years in pandemic world, I think this year’s holiday festivities will be quite the cause for celebration. And while we are not out of the woods yet, we all have plans to gather and sparkle and shine! Righteously so, too. We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.

Like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it is literally crammed down our throats. But then….uhhhhh, well I have a summer cold and it’s causing me a bout of insomnia. Mostly because I cannot breathe. Quickie post today as I spent the weekend literally spending all my money on May holidays and birthdays. May is pure insanity for us every year. It’s the fastest month that usually leaves me feel like I have whiplash come June 1.
